Good Buddy Farm began as a small, diversified vegetable farm in 2018, nestled in the hills of Hiram, Maine. At the heart of it all is Erin Barber—a farmer, artist, and deeply passionate creative who found her calling by blending the worlds of cultivation and craftsmanship.

Originally growing organic vegetables on just 1.5 acres, Erin sold her harvest alongside local gifts and handmade goods out of a charming post-and-beam barn. But something was missing. Though she loved farming, the work left her feeling uninspired by season’s end. What she craved was creativity—a way to bring art and nature together.
In 2019, she discovered the magic of dried flowers. What began as a few rows of strawflower, statice, gomphrena, and scabiosa quickly bloomed into a deeper passion. She was captivated by their color, texture, and timeless beauty. That same year, she began offering wreaths, swags, and bouquets in her farm store—and people started showing up just to experience the sight of vibrant flowers drying in the rafters.
